Twenty years ago, men's underwear looked very different.
If you wanted premium comfort, support and enhancement, there weren't many options. Men's underwear was largely practical and uninspiring, while women had products designed to help them look and feel their best.
We believed men deserved better.
We weren't interested in following trends. We wanted to create something entirely new.
So in 2006, we launched Cocksox with a single product - the CX01 Underwear Brief. There was no website, no major marketing campaign and no flashy launch. We listed it on eBay and waited to see what would happen.
The CX01 was designed to do something different for men. Its uplifting pouch design naturally enhances and supports the male form without the need for rings, slings or separate compartments - just smart design delivering exceptional comfort and confidence.
What happened next proved us right.
The first customers immediately came back asking when they could buy more. It was clear that there were men around the world looking for exactly what we had set out to create - underwear that delivered comfort, support and enhancement without compromise.
Twenty years later, the principles remain unchanged.
Every pouch design, every fabric and every collection that has followed has been driven by the same simple idea: to give men a better option than the one that existed before.
To mark this special anniversary, we're sharing some of the milestones, innovations and stories that have shaped Cocksox over the past two decades.

DESIGNED WITH PURPOSE.
From the very beginning, we believed that comfort, support and enhancement should come from thoughtful design - not gimmicks. That's why every Cocksox pouch is created through careful pattern making, precise specifications and an uncompromising attention to detail.
There is no such thing as "the Cocksox pouch”.
Different men want different things from their underwear. Sometimes, the same man wants something different depending on the occasion.
We offer three pouch designs, each created with a specific purpose in mind and designed to deliver a different wearing experience.
Our Original Pouch is where it all began. Naturally uplifting and enhancing, it offers the signature Cocksox look and feel that introduced a generation of men to premium pouch underwear.
Our Contour Pouch holds you closer to the body while maintaining exceptional comfort and support, making it the perfect choice for everyday wear and an active lifestyle.
Our Snug Pouch offers the same uplifting comfort and support as the Original Pouch, but in a slightly less enhanced profile.
None is better than another.
They're simply different solutions for different needs, occasions and preferences.
Most importantly, we've never relied on rings, slings or separate compartments to achieve the support and comfort that Cocksox is known for. Every pouch is designed to work naturally with the male form, delivering lasting comfort throughout the day.
Sometimes you want uplift and enhancement. Others times you want understated comfort and support. That's why we design our products with the pouch we believe best complements the experience we want each garment to deliver.
One pouch design, introduced on an all-new cut back in 2010, would become the catalyst for the biggest evolution in our history.
MORE THAN WE IMAGINED.
When we launched Cocksox in 2006, we knew we had created something different. What we didn't yet realise was just how much more it could become.
Our first products were bold, uplifting and unapologetically enhancing. They gave men something they simply couldn't find elsewhere - premium underwear designed to deliver comfort, support and confidence.
That hasn't changed.
What changed was our understanding of where Cocksox could fit into our customers' lives.
Four years after launch, we introduced two innovations that would become a turning point in our history - the Contour Pouch and the CX76 Sports Brief.
Together, they helped redefine what Cocksox could be.
The Contour Pouch was designed to hold you closer to the body while maintaining exceptional comfort and support. Combined with the classic Sports Brief cut, it delivered a secure, comfortable fit that was equally at home at the gym, through the workday and everywhere in between.
For many men, the CX76 Sports Brief became their introduction to Cocksox. Its classic cut feels instantly familiar, but the experience it delivers is unmistakably Cocksox. It proved that premium pouch underwear could be just as suited to everyday wear as it was to those moments when you wanted to stand out.
The introduction of the CX76 Sports Brief didn't replace what came before it. It simply expanded what Cocksox could be.
The Contour Pouch would then find its way into other cuts across the range, including the CX68 Trunk and CX12 Boxer, helping to redefine what men could expect from their everyday underwear.
Today, the CX76 Sports Brief remains our most popular style.
More importantly, it showed us that Cocksox could become more than we ever imagined.
ONE FABRIC WAS NEVER ENOUGH
What we've learned over the past two decades is that there is no such thing as the perfect underwear fabric.
Better underwear isn't about finding one fabric that does everything. It's about choosing the right fabric for the moment.
Some fabrics are made for the gym. Others are perfect for everyday comfort through the workday. And sometimes, the right pair of underwear is the one that sets the tone for date night.
That's why we've spent twenty years expanding our range of premium fabrics - not to offer more for the sake of it, but because every fabric brings something different to the Cocksox range.
